STORING YOUR BOAT IN CLIMATE CONTROL? THINK YOU DON’T NEED TO WINTERIZE?
We understand—but here’s something to think about:
What happens if the building loses power during a major cold snap?
What if there’s an emergency and your boat has to be moved outside?
What about water sitting inside your engine, heater, ballast system, or other components all winter?
Even in climate-controlled storage, stagnant water can contribute to internal corrosion and material breakdown. Over time, corrosion and debris can restrict smaller water passages and potentially lead to cooling-system problems.
At the very minimum, let us properly drain the water from your engine and accessories to give you added protection and peace of mind.
For maximum protection, we recommend our complete winterization process using -75°F biodegradable, anti-corrosive antifreeze throughout the engine and applicable accessories.
