Our service call fee is $165 within 25 miles of the Lee’s Summit area. We offer a discounted service-call rate for locations less than 10 miles away, with an additional mileage charge for locations more than 25 miles away.
We also offer same-day drop-off service at our Olathe location for basic services. (No service call charge)
Basic Winterization — $335–$360
Our basic winterization service includes:
• Treating the entire fuel system
• Draining and flushing all water from the engine and accessories
• Winterizing ballast systems, showers, heaters, and other applicable components
• Filling the engine and accessories with -75° biodegradable, anticorrosive antifreeze
The basic winterization price is $335–$360 for all inboard and I/O boats.
Spring Startup
In the spring, we offer an optional spring startup service to make sure everything is operating properly and your boat is lake-ready. While this service provides peace of mind at the beginning of the season, it is not required.
Because we use a biodegradable antifreeze that is safe for lakes, once winterization is complete, you can simply charge your batteries and head to the lake when boating season arrives.

We understand—but here’s something to think about:
What happens if the building loses power during a major cold snap?
What if there’s an emergency and your boat has to be moved outside?
What about water sitting inside your engine, heater, ballast system, or other components all winter?
Even in climate-controlled storage, stagnant water can contribute to internal corrosion and material breakdown. Over time, corrosion and debris can restrict smaller water passages and potentially lead to cooling-system problems.
At the very minimum, let us properly drain the water from your engine and accessories to give you added protection and peace of mind.

PROPER WINTERIZATION GOES BEYOND FREEZE PROTECTION.
At Anchored Up Inboards, our winterization process helps protect your boat while giving us a closer look at its cooling system.
Treat the fuel system
We add marine fuel stabilizer and run the engine with a proper cooling-water supply to circulate treated fuel throughout the system, following the engine and stabilizer manufacturer’s instructions.
Drain and inspect
We thoroughly drain the raw-water cooling system and applicable accessories, including ballast, heaters, and showers. This also gives us an opportunity to inspect accessible components, including knock sensors, anodes, coolers, and strainers where equipped.
During draining, we check for sediment and corrosion debris that can obstruct drain openings or restrict cooling-water flow. Identifying these issues helps keep your cooling system working properly.
Protect against freezing and corrosion
We then use biodegradable, corrosion-inhibiting marine antifreeze rated for –75°F burst protection in applicable systems, following product and manufacturer requirements.

For boats compatible with our process, no separate de-winterization service is needed. Complete your normal preseason checks, and you’re ready for the water! We also offer a spring startup service for added confidence before your first outing.
